Privacy Policy

Information this site collects

We do not offer accounts, web forms, comments or newsletter registration. If you email a correction to contact@wardogs.site, your email address, message and any evidence you include are used to investigate the report and reply. The email link opens your email app; this website does not submit the message for you.

We use Google Analytics 4 for visit and usage statistics. It loads automatically and may write analytics cookies. A refusal saved through the previous Cookie settings remains effective and prevents Google Analytics from loading in that browser.

We also use self-hosted Umami visit and page-performance statistics on every page, independently of Google Analytics. Its tracker does not set cookies. Requests to stats.dawang.dev include the page, referrer, browser details and IP address; Umami uses these to calculate anonymous visits and does not store the raw IP address in its analytics database. We use the resulting page, source, device and approximate location reports to understand site usage and identify slow or unstable pages through LCP, INP, CLS, FCP and TTFB measurements.

Google Analytics may process your IP address, browser and device details, page and referral information, approximate location, interactions, and online identifiers. It may use cookies or similar browser storage for measurement and reporting.

If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser stores that preference locally on your device. The preference is not sent to this site by the page code.

Embedded and external services

Adsterra advertising was disabled on October 23, 2026. This site no longer displays Native Banner, display banner or Social Bar ads, and no Adsterra code loads. Browser storage from earlier visits can be removed through your browser settings.

The home page embeds Team17’s official WARDOGS trailer using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. The embedded player may connect to YouTube when the home page loads. Playing or interacting with the video may lead to further processing, subject to YouTube’s own policies. The embedded YouTube player operates independently of Google Analytics and Umami.

Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube, BULKHEAD and Team17 take you to external services. Their privacy practices are controlled by those providers, not this fan guide.

Hosting and technical logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request details and ordinary technical logs to deliver, secure and operate the website. Umami runs on a separate server we operate at stats.dawang.dev.

Your choices

You can block or delete analytics cookies through your browser settings. Any refusal saved through the previous Cookie settings is retained; clearing this site’s saved preferences removes that refusal. Umami continues collecting anonymous visit and page-performance statistics. Access to editorial content, images and official links does not depend on Google Analytics.
