Can I play WARDOGS now?
Yes. Steam Early Access launched on September 10, 2026, and the Steam listing was marked released when rechecked on October 27. Open the WARDOGS entry in your Steam library and finish any pending client update before launching. Server entry can still be affected by queues or connection problems.

Preloading is no longer the step to wait for: the game has been released. The September 10 launch hotfix addresses failed joins, unexpected disconnects and long queues. It required players to close the game, install the client update and restart into the login queue. Follow the connection checklist for your symptom.
An older WARDOGS Playtest entry comes from the Beta. The launch notices checked here do not explain how that installation relates to the release client or whether Beta progress transfers. Check the WARDOGS product in your library before treating a test installation as current access.
Get help with login queues and joiningIs this the full release?
No. This is Steam Early Access. Steam estimates around one to two years in Early Access, but that is a development estimate, not a promised full-release date. The 2028 console plan does not establish a date for the full PC release.
When can I play on console?
BULKHEAD announced console versions for 2028 in the September 10 launch trailer. That announcement does not name specific consoles or a release day. If you are waiting for PlayStation or Xbox, treat 2028 as a plan and check for a platform-specific announcement before making a purchase decision. Crossplay has not been confirmed in these sources.
