Next wipe date: November 12 season target
On October 23, the Steam account brammflakes, marked as a developer, said Season 3 had been moved forward to November 12 for a fresh start.
Use November 12 as the announced season target. We have not found a reset hour, time zone or maintenance window in that reply, so do not schedule a last-minute cash conversion around midnight. A later maintenance announcement can refine or change this plan.
October 23 developer reply on SteamCash, XP, Gold and cosmetics: what happens?
BULKHEAD explains the season-reset model at 3:05–3:27 in its official Early Access & Beyond video. These are the published general rules; a complete Season 3 exception list has not been published in the sources reviewed.

Our planning advice: reserve the cash for the sessions you still want to play, then compare an unlock’s remaining usefulness with keeping that balance for conversion. There is no verified universal “best day” to exchange Gold.

Progress missing after the update: expected reset or problem?
- Finish the Steam client update and sign in once. If you cannot reach the menu, use the login checklist instead of treating a connection failure as lost progress.
- Compare the missing item with the table above: reset cash and XP are different from missing Gold or cosmetics under the published model.
- If Gold or a cosmetic is missing, save before/after screenshots and the exact item name. Send the discrepancy privately to Team17, including when you last saw it. Do not buy the same item again to test whether it returns.
